At B Natural Academy of Music and the Arts of Greensboro, we provide inclusive, accessible music and dance education that empowers every child to discover their voice, build confidence, and thrive in a safe and supportive community.

History of B Natural

 Established in 2014 in memory of Charles "Lee-Bo" Butler who served as the band director for 18 years at Ben L. Smith High School here in Greensboro, NC. His love for music and the youth was endless. Motto:

"You can be what you want to be; just B Natural"

Inside B Natural

  • B Natural Academy of Music and the Arts of Greensboro is a non-profit 5013C organization. The academy was created to give children a welcoming space to learn, grow, and express themselves through the arts!

    Our classes are designed for youth ages 4–14 and are centered around creativity, confidence, skill-building, and community. Whether your child is just beginning or already has experience, we work to place students based on their age and skill level so they can learn in an environment that supports their growth.

  • Our mission is to provide inclusive, accessible music and dance education that empowers every child to discover their voice, build confidence, and thrive in a safe and supportive community.

  • Classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September through June and are designed for children ages 4–14 with a variety of experience levels.

    While we do our best to accommodate each family’s scheduling needs, students are thoughtfully placed based on both age and skill level to ensure they are learning in the environment best suited for their development and success.

    Whether your child is just beginning their journey in the arts or already has experience, we aim to provide classes that challenge, inspire, and help them continue growing both artistically and personally.
